ART SHOWS + EVENTS
As an artist, it is really important to me to be a part of the art community. Here you can find past art events and shows I have been a part of in some capacity. Whether that means participating in juried shows, art fundraisers, notable commissioned work, and/or stepping into the world of curating- there is a little bit of everything :) If you are interested in seeing me at upcoming events, please subscribe or contact me to stay updated on new events I am participating in!
HOMESICK
~2022~
Homesick was month long exhibition at the Maze Library in Oak Park. It was curated to honor works made when- you guessed it- I was homesick, removed from my loved ones when Covid-19 was at a high. I was creating paintings of everyday spaces that I missed having the honor of seeing everyday and those loved ones who shared that space.
" Most of the works on display were created throughout the 2020/2021 school year—amidst the Covid-19 pandemic at its high. I lived alone in a house a minimum of 2 hours away from my most important and comforting people. During this time, grappling with a lot of confusion, loss, and unfamiliarity I turned to those “everyday spaces” to help connect to those places and people I missed the most... Many of the pieces in this exhibition are of the same house and spot. Reflecting on the mundane nature of visiting the same important spot however many times you would during the day, and then reflecting on those spaces in a time where you cannot physically be present. "
ART IN MOTION
~ 2018- 2022 ~
Art in Motion is an annual art show/ fundraiser I have been an artist in since 2018*. This art show is an annual event that contributed funds to the artists as well as Shirley Ryan Ability Lab's Art Therapy Program. All artists were patients at Shirely Ryan and contribute a body of work to display and auction.

A ComMunity Affair
~2022~
A Community Affair was a pop- up art show I participated in as well as co-curated with fellow Chicago artist and friend Anandita Vidyarthi. We worked to connect with emerging Chicago artists to create a one day show highlighting various mediums and skillsets.
WINTER ART SHOWCASE
~ 2020 ~
This winter showcase was co-curated by myself and fellow Chicago artist + friend Anandita Vidyarthi. In creating this we had an artmaking day with all artists involved to try to create community and showcase the pieces created together. Our intention was to create a re-occuring and more frequent show- however COVID 19 had other plans :/
ISU STUDENT ANNUAL
~2018 and 2020~
Throughout my undergraduate experience, I participated in some small art shows connected to the university. This being one of them! This is an annual juried show that students from the school of art are encouraged to participate in. I had the honor of having work selected and shown for two years*.
*Due to 2021 being a virtual gallery, I selected an image from 2018 when it was in- person at University Galleries in Normal IL*

ART EDUCATION SENIOR SHOWCASE
~ 2020 ~
As an Art Education major, my cohort worked together to curate and display some work prior to graduating. It was amazing to get to see Art Educators display and show their craft before we started student teaching at various locations in Illinois.
